When I try to play anything I have recorded it plays very, very weakly even though I have volumes on computer and keyboard at max level, Is there some setting I am missing? I am playing it through my computer speakers and sounds from other sources (you tube, news) are appropriately loud.
If it’s too quiet but the quality is OK, run the Amplify effect after recording.
How is your keyboard connected? Does your computer have line-in (blue on a regular soundcard)?
Most laptops only have mic-in which is actually too sensitive for a line or headphone output and it would normally be too loud and distorted.
Make sure Windows “enhancements” are turned OFF. Sometimes they try to block everything except voice.
