I want to monitor the audio coming from my synth via an interface which comes through completely fine when recording, however when I click the monitoring microphone symbol it gives me the option only for ‘enable silent monitoring’. All I can get is it monitoring the volume level but no sound is produced until I record. I’ve enabled audio input monitoring, but still nothing.
Okay, went back through it and managed to get sound, however it won’t play over the playback of other tracks. Is there anyway to do that? So that I can practice what I’m going to record as overdub while listening to the previous tracks without hitting record?
