AuburnSounds Panagement (free demo available) crashes Audacity as soon as I try to load it from Effect/VST/Panagement_2
(observation: another audio editor(called ocenaudio) that was tested with this plugin does not exhibit the segmentation fault)
it loads up for 2 seconds for the two available LV2 Panagement plugins. (one is stereo, the other is #1in2out in their naming labels)
I am able to see the full GUI interface of the plugin for either LV2 after I select a range on the workarea and then just choose the plugin from the Effects list. The LV2 plugins(both) are also crashing though they able to show their visual for 2 seconds. When I select a range and choose the LV2 plugin they remain visible for 2 seconds, without any range selection they do not show up…
afaict the 2 LV2 and 1 VST plugins are identical in both visual and all three work in the ardour daw. These plugins just became functional on Linux about a week ago after the author updated their framework to work more correctly on Linux… The Dplug framework is what it uses, and it got a few updates this past december… If you find anything that points to a function that these plugins are doing incorrectly, I’ll relay this report to auburnsounds for them to take a look at this issue.
