Hey Guys,
I’ve been using audacity for a while, but right now I’m trying to use it to record some stuff through the browser. However when I try the voices sound blocked a little and the result has some extra bass compared to the original. How could I correct this?
Regards
You might be recording your built-in microphone instead of the data stream. That is one way, just not a very good way.

I’m sure that is not the case as I have disabled the microphone in the recording devices. Additionally I disabled the speakers so no sound could have been recorded through the microphone
Somehow the voices sound more in the background and even echo a little…
I doubt you want to disable the speakers if they are built in speakers - how will you hear what you want to record?
If you are sure you are following the Tutorial exactly ( http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tutorial_recording_computer_playback_on_windows.html ) then try disabling sound effects and enhancements ( http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_recording_troubleshooting.html#enhancements ).
