I had this problem about six months ago and of course I can’t remember what I did to fix it. I’m an idiot and didn’t write this down. I’m hoping one of you brilliant Audacity audio and interface experts can help me. Suddenly, my voice is sounding like I’m down in a deep WELL with a slight echo. I know this doesn’t help matters. I have tried out a new interface Behringer Uphoria 404HD and have a new mic (Neumann 107) I know that complicates the whole issue. I switched everything back to the old mic and interface and it was still doing the same thing. I’m smack dab in the middle of a book narration too. I’m gonna kick my own ass over this. Grrrrrr.
Make sure Windows “enhancements” are turned OFF.
