Is it posible to drag video files onto audacity
You see what I want to do is make an video file and make a separate audio file and I wish to remove and replace the sound from the video file with the sound from the audio file
Yes, but for most formats you’ll need to install the [u]FFmpeg import/export library[/u] (if you haven’t done so already).
Of course, Audacity is an audio editor and the audio will be “extracted” from the video. You’ll need to use your video editor (or other tool) to re-multiplex the edited audio with the video.
