I’ve installed Audacity 4 for Windows a few times now and all the time with the same result: after installation I open a .mp3 file, can’t increase or decrease sound, doesn’t play over external speaker and when that first song finishes, Audacity crashes and will never open again. No chance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It looks like all the problems have gone with the exception of playing the sound over external speaker.
Deleted desktop shortcut and did one on Start. Audacity 4 doesn’t start again.
