I’m a long-time audacity user and recently migrated to a new M1Pro macbook, i.e. Apple Silicon. Audacity does run on it, but it takes forever to start up (I timed it to 4 minutes and 30 seconds). I guess it is because of rosetta. After the long startup time it behaves normal. I’m wondering when we can expect an arm build for macos, or how the startup in Rosetta can in any way be improved?
