I was wondering if there was a way to edit in, for example, Paulstretch, into a chain? I need it in order to fully automate this process of converting and making a ghostly voice effect.
Paulstretch cannot be used in Chains in the current 2.0.5 release. Paulstretch was missed out of Chains in error, but this will be corrected in the next 2.0.6 release.
If it is really important you use Paulstretch in a Chain, then (at your own risk) you can try the latest 2.0.6-alpha from the top of this list: http://gaclrecords.org.uk/win-nightly/ . There isn’t any serious risk we are aware of at the moment, but if you want to take an alpha build I would do so now because there may well be changes to export and import of FFmpeg formats in the near future that may make FFmpeg features buggy until fully tested.

Thank you for this. I’m not so worried about that, it’s just a matter of getting these effects done. I’m currently exporting using OGG files.

Yes, Reverb is also available for Chains in Audacity 2.0.6 alpha and will be available in the next release version.
