I’ve been recording audio books for over a year, and never had this problem before. I think I may be going insane! When I change the volume on one mp3 in a folder, they all assume the same volume level. Obviously, I want to alter one or two to coincide with the rest. Are there little gremlins taking over my computer? Using Windows 10. I’ve got 40 files to upload to ACX - and it’s driving me NUTS!!! Please help. It’s probably a setting that I unknowingly changed. UGH!!!
Thanks for any assistance.
Carl
See Audiobook Mastering. All of the files/chapters should be processed separately so that every file/chapter meets the requirements. It may seem like a lot of work but it’s nothing compared to reading & recording (and editing) 40 chapters!

Apparently they aren’t “assuming the same level”, but how are you doing that?

Not just “coincide”… They need to meet the ACX requirements of -18 to -23dB (RMS).

Everything accepted by ACX?
