I have launched Audacity and see the microphone input, but I cannot get the Audacity software to recognize my Agptek cassette player or my Audio Technica record player.
Is there something I’m missing? Maybe a driver that needs to be installed or something I’m doing wrong?
I’m hoping someone on this forum can help, I’d really appreciate it.

USB playback devices rarely have their own drivers.
Have you restarted Audacity? It won’t see devices you plugged in after Audacity was running.
Bad USB cables can be an issue too.
