USB Mic not showing up as an input option

Hi guys,

I have a blue Yeti USB mic that I’ve plugged into my mac but Audacity isn’t recognising it so I can’t select it to you use as my input or output. My mac is recognising it and I have selected the Yeti as my mic of choice in my System Preferences.
Not sure what else to do… Please help.

Normally you should connect the mic before launching Audacity.
If Audacity is launched first you will need to “Rescan audio devices” (in the “Transport” menu).
