Unknown change to track display

hi

I’ve been editing for several hours and suddenly noticed something strange with one of the tracks.

The insert silence doesn’t work. That’s unusual and it works on other tracks. I then had a closer look - and saw that the vertical scale of the track which is normally from 1.0 to -1.0 is cut off at -0.5 and consequently, that portion of the wave is cut off as well.

In addition, there is a grey stripe at the top of each channel - all of which indicates to me that the track has shifted down somehow. Whether on its own, or I hit the wrong key combination - don’t know.

That’s most likely something very easy to fix - I just don’t have a clue what and how. I can’t see anything related in the menu.

I have attached a screenshot of the issue - would be grateful for your help!

yeap, that’s the one!

I have painfully learnt over the years that right click menus while being so inconspicuous often contain critical settings.

I usually right click everywhere in troubleshooting (in any application), but this time somehow didn’t think that the track vertical scale might have one…
