unable to select Export

I’ve split my file into separate tracks using labels, but when I want to export them via Multiple Export I am unable to select that function. As a matter of fact, the only functions I can select under File are Open Recent Project and Import. What am I forgetting?

I work on a MacBook Pro, OS 10.5.8. The version of Audacity I’m using is 2.0.5. I obtained the .dmg installer.

Have you tried pressing the yellow Stop button: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_editing.html#grayed ?
