After successfuly copying/recording/burning three projects from cassette right through to burning onto CD, I find I can no longer record from cassette to Pc("Win XP) every time I play the required casette then press the record button the pause button automatically sets causing everything to stop. I have no knowledge of changing any settings and cannot understand why from success comes failure Using Audacity 2.0.5 from exe installer (all worked before)

Check that Transport > Software Playthrough (on/off) does not have a checkmark (tick) by it. If it does, click it to turn it off.
