Unable to open Audacity 2.0

I have installed and re-installed Audacity 2.0.0 on my pc running Windows XP Home SP3, but it will not launch, and I get the following message when I try to launch. Can anybody help please?

Unable to execute file:

C:Program FilesAudacityaudacity.exe



CreateProcess failed; code 14001.

This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Please see this FAQ http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/FAQ:Installation_and_Plug-Ins#probs

You apparently need to install the appropriate “Microsoft Redistributable Package”. The FAQ page has links and instructions about which one to install for 32-bit or 64-bit Windows.
