Unable to copy from left to right a full song or speech

I am currently using a iMac with the operating system of 10.10.5 and have ungraded to Audacity 2.1.2. Prior to upgrading I had no problems of copying songs to edit in new window. Now with 2.1.2 I am unable to copy beyond the window from left to right. I can copy from right to left. The copying process is confined to the window boundaries. This occurs also in a new window. Copying from right to left is no problem, but as I said I was able to copy from left to right prior to the upgrade. Any help in this area would be highly appreciated.

Sorry it’s a bug in 2.1.2, but it’s now been fixed in our source code so it will be fixed in the next 2.1.3 version of Audacity (when released).

You could zoom out so the required selection remains in the project window. Or you could go back to 2.1.1.
