I installed Audacity v2.0.3 that came with my new turntable on my MacPro Quad (OSX 10.9.2) then upgraded to v2.0.5. I had been a Bias Peak 7 user before they went out of business but I still use Peak 7 on a partition running OSX 10.6.8 periodically. As steve_frost post, feb 15, 2013, pointed out I got the message that Soundsoap 2.4 has not been authorized. No problem I just found the offending files and installed them where required in the 10.9.2 partition. Except I am now only activated for a 14 day trial??? Last Oct I purchased Soundsoap 3 but when I attempted to load the app, an activation dialog box appeared but would not let me enter my authorization code. Does anybody know how to get around this problem- either to remove the trial limitation on v2.4 or allow me to use the upgraded v3.0 in Audacity 2.0.5?
Audacity does not make the original or the new SoundSoap or have any relationship with those companies.
