Trying to record Serato Scratch Live

I read Serato’s page on how to record through Audacity, but couldn’t get it to work.

On my systems preferences, under sound. It says select a device for sound input and under it I only have 2 options, internal Microphone and USB Audio CODEC.

On Audacity, when i click Start Monitoring or record, it records everything in the room, including the loud sound of my crossfader and upfaders.

Obviously I would like it to only record stuff happening on my Serato Scratch Live and on my microphone.

What do I need to do to fix this issue?

Thank you for your time and help.

Did the Serato posting suggest how you were actually supposed to do that? Since Serato uses multiple sound pathway reassignments depending on its configuration, there’s kind of no way to know where the show actually is most of the time. I think our official party line is get the Serato version that records.
