Trouble selecting and editing individual samples

Hi all, Up until a few weeks ago, I was able to select as few as one sample to edit but now, it seems a setting has changed and my minimum select options seem to be snapping to a grid. For instance, when I try to select only one sample now, it automatically snaps the nearest 0.001 second which totals about 50 samples. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Jason

Set “Snap-to” to “Off” (near the bottom of the main Audacity window: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/selection_toolbar.html)
