This is minor, but keeps bugging me. Since last upgrading to Audacity 2.4.1, I’ll work on a document/recorded song, close it, and…with Audacity still open but not displayed on the screen…I double click on another existing Audacity document’s icon, and it won’t open. It won’t even indicate that Audacity is open at the top of the screen. I have to open it from within the application. In other words, when an existing document is open, I have to hit click command-O, and then select the document from the menu. When nothing’s on the screen, I have to to go to Force Quit, then re-start Audacity. Before upgrading to 2.4.1 this irritation didn’t exist. Wutm I doing wrong? Using Mac OS 10.15.7.
Yes, that is totally annoying. It is also a known bug.
