I’m having problems transferring audio from an analog cassette to Audacity. I am using a Wikoo cassette playback device which is connected to my MacBook via a USB connector. Each time I attempt to record from the Wikoo, Audacity either shuts down or gives me an error message saying “error opening sound device.” I never get more than a few seconds of audio recorded before the application shuts down. Any advice or recommendations? Also - the Wikoo came with a mini-CD version of Audacity, but I don’t want to insert the mini-CD into my computer because I fear it might get stuck. The version of Audacity I have is 2.2.2 for Mac.
