Transfer to new Mac

I have an old MacBook Pro that I was using and have now upgraded to a newer MacBook. I have several plug-ins and macros that I don’t want to have to reinstall or recreate on the new MacBook. Any idea how to copy all that over to the new Mac? I did try to just drag and drop the app from the old to the new but that didn’t work. Not sure what else to do. Thanks!

What version of Audacity were you using on the old Macbook and what version are you using on the new one?

Plug-ins and macros are not stored in the Audacity app. On your old Macbook look in ~/Library/Application Support/audacity. There should me a Macros folder and a Plug-ins folder.
