I attempted to record a show from the radio last night and the last 45 minutes sounds of the file sounds like its underwater/train wreck effect, which is making it unlistenable. At first I thought it was the radio station but I am not sure Radio One is going to over the air sounding like that. It sounds like an internal latency but I could be wrong, is it fixable or am I reside to ditching the recording. I haven’t had much luck with audacity in the past, anyway maybe somebody knows a solution to save the music.
This FAQ should help for future recordings: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_recording_troubleshooting.html#enhancements
It’s extremely unlikely that you can rescue the current recording you have.
But as it’s the BBC you most likely can get the show through the “Listen Again” facility they run: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1#djs

Thanks, I will have a play when I get home.
