Hello, I just downloaded and started using Audacity 2.3.3. When I record one track it sounds great but when I add a second track or use the overdub feature to record a second track (with the first) they aren’t completely matched together when I listen back, or when I download it either as an MP3 or Wav. I’m using a Focusrite Scarlett Solo Digital Audio Interface. Hoping this is just something simple with my initial setup. Again, there is a slight delay with the second track, not matching with the first so it’s like a half second off…therefore not usable.

If it happens when recoding I would guess the latency is not compensated correct. Have a look at the manual of AUDACITY: there is a tutorial: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/latency_test.html
If it happens also with files… I have no idea… Perhaps they have also been recorded with wrong defined latency? But you can adjust them with the “time shift tool”: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/time_shift_tool.html
