Tinny Audio

Hello, I am hoping someone can help me–I am trying to use Audacity to sample streaming audio for remix purposes. However, although I am able to record the audio, it comes out substantially more “tinny” than the actual audio I can hear on the CPU–actually, it seems like the recorder may be recording the projected audio (rather than simply extracting the streamed video verbatim). End all, the audio on my CPU is great, but Audacity is recording an unsuitable recreation of the audio…am I doing something wrong? Please help anyone.

Thanks

Patrick

That’s what it sounds like when you record your laptop built-in microphone instead of the internal data stream.
