When Recording Multiple Tracks - Succesive Tracks Become More And More Out Of Time
I am using audacity 2.0.5 with Mac OS 10.5.8 On A G5 Computer
This is expected due to recording latency. The computer cannot lay down the recording the exact millisecond when you sing in response to the beat.
The solution is to use Time Shift Tool (F5) to move the tracks into correct position, or set latency correction in Audacity’s Recording Preferences to a value that will correct the latency automatically (assuming latency remains constant).
