Time Shifting Multiple Tracks Together

I can’t figure this out. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
I use {shift}{click} to select multiple tracks and then try to drag them all to the right. Sometimes all of the tracks move. Sometimes just the first one moves and the others stay put… even though all look like they are selected.

They will move together if the selection (highlighted area) is over the audio in the tracks AND you start dragging from within the highlighted area. If you start the “click/drag” from part of the audio that is not highlighted, then only that one audio clip will move.

I did look at Sync lock but didn’t spend enough time to fully understand it.
