The recording meter toolbar doesn't show the number associated with the level anymore?

I just uploaded to the newest version of Audacity, 3.2.1

I’m on Windows 10 Home, 64-bit

I had my recording level toolbar set to 0.60 in previous versions. When I updated to the newest version of Audacity, I went to set it to 0.60 again, but realized that when I move the slider left and right, no numbers appear. I have no idea what level my microphone is recording at now. I need to do some retakes of a voice-over I recorded before, so I need to make sure it’s recording at 0.60.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

This is a known issue which is being fixed - I have tested it in a developer’s branch build and it works well.

Meanwhile for a workaround just double-click on the slider and you will get a dialog which shows the current level and which you can overtype to get the level you require.

Oh my gosh, thank you so much! I really appreciate it.
