tape2mp3 using audacity

Hi. Have a “Tape2MP3” player, which is supposed to convert cassettes to mp3 format. It uses Audacity to do so. I followed the directions that came with the player. Audacity does not bring up the screens shown in the directions, and I cannot make it work. Any suggestions?

It’s a bad idea to follow the directions that came with the player. We didn’t write them, and they probably relate to a discontinued version of Audacity.

I suggest you get the latest Audacity 2.0.3 from Audacity ® | Downloads. See here for installation help Audacity Manual .
