I have Audacity 2.0.3 and Windows7…I’ve been successfully using my special LP player to put music from vinyl LP’s on my computer to then transfer to my MP3 player for months. All of a sudden today, it won’t work! I have the proper connections connected, I’ve chosen USB port for input as usual, then when I get the record playing and click on ‘record’…nothing happens !! I’m frustrated by this sudden lack of success…any suggestions?? Thanks
Did you connect the turntable before opening Audacity? If not, you may need to “Transport menu > Rescan Audio Devices” before Audacity can “see” the USB turntable.
The USB turntable must then be selected as the recording input in the Device Toolbar .
If there are no USB options listed in the Device Toolbar try rebooting the computer.
