Windows 8.1, Audacity 2.1.0. When I export audio as an mp3 file I want NO MEGADATA associated with it. The only way I have found to achieve that is via the megadata editor, which allows me to delete each megadata item manually. But that is extremely tedious. Suppressing the megadata editor itself achieves nothing – all the megadata is then automatically exported. I want to Always suppress All Megadata automatically, without having to use the megadata editor. Is that possible?
It’s called “metadata”.
You can press the “Clear” button in Metadata Editor rather than delete each field. But if the imported files have metadata you can’t remove that metadata before export without opening Metadata Editor to clear it.
