hope this fits in this forum section as a suggestion. Just saw that if I’ve got files open while allowing the auto-updater to run, the save/ommit changes to project dialog still spawns mid-screen and therefore ends up behind that installer window, potentially making it ambiguous why updates couldn’t be installed since the installer then also refuses to forcefully close Audacity without confirmation therein.
Maybe you’d be able to detect an update running and move the ‘Save Project’ window into focus or somewhere visible even when the installer is running in future releases.
