Hello im new here i am runing windows 10 and have the latest audacity program the problem i have is when i record a dvd sound track via audacity and save it as mp3 then try to streem it via dlna the last 2 minutes of the sound track cut off before the track ends the mp3 file plays fine on my pc right to the end can any one help i have tryed to even carry on recording to the first track again but it still cutts off. thank you.
By default, Audacity encodes MP3s as “VBR” (variable bit rate), which is optimised for music. Some players don’t handle VBR encoding very well, and that could be the problem. Try Exporting from audacity as MP3 and select “Constant” as the bit-rate mode. (I’d suggest setting the “Quality” to 160 kbps, but if you still have streaming problems, try 128 kbps). https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/mp3_export_options.html
thank you for your help ill try it and let you know

Does the Oasis track play all the way to the end if you just play the file in an ordinary media player?
I think I’ve sorted it via the link you sent me
The one that works was done using lame 3 99.5
And the one that doesn’t was done in lame 99r
Thank you for your help
