stopped tracking when recording

I have Windows 11 and Aud v.3.1.3. This started two days ago: When recording, it is not tracking visually. For instance, there is a red vertical line that moves real time when recording. I’ve zoomed in to where I can see 4 seconds of recording time on my screen. Once the vertical red line moves past 4 seconds, the screen doesn’t move to the right to see the next 4 seconds of recording. So I can’t see past the first 4 seconds when recording. (I hope that makes sense). It was fine till a few days ago and I cannot find where this setting lives or why it changed. Thanks in advance for answers.

Perhaps you inadvertently turned off Edit > Preferences > Tracks > [x] Auto-scroll if head unpinned.
