Hey, I’m new to this forum, and I’ve just started using Audacity. I have two recordings with different lenghts. The first one starts 5 seconds from start, whilst the other one starts immediately, and I can’t get them together. How do I make both start at the same time ? The one starting later is has the first 5 seconds trimmed off.
Use the Time Shift tool to drag the audio clips left/right to line them up.
You may find it helpful to zoom in so that you can line up peaks in the tracks visually.
Oh well, I just found a way myself, I marked one recording, did ctrl+X, then clicked the moment when the other track started, and did ctrl+v. Thanks anyway
