So i have audacity 2.0.3 on windows 7 and i want to use audacity to record my microphone while i play a game so that i can edit the different audio sources separately. is there anyway to have a key bound to audacity so that when i hit that key while in game it starts audacity recording?
No, but you can use AutoHotKey or similar to make a shortcut that switches to Audacity, presses the R shortcut to start recording, then switches back to your game.
