Splitting up tracks on recorded LP

I am new to Audacity. Need some help with dividing up recorded LP tracks into individual songs
I reviewed the Tutorial ‘Splitting a recording into separate tracks’ Found it a little vague.
Windows 10 Audacity Version 2.4.2

You can simply select/highlight one song at a time and then use File → Export → Export Selected Audio to export the selected song. (Then I sometimes import one song at a time to trim the silence at the beginning & end.)
