I have a ton of recording which are entire concerts that are not split into individual songs. I would like to know how to do this. I’m sure its not too hard but I just got audacity yoday. Any help at all would be gratefuly appriciated.
All you need to do is to place a label at each track break - use the Ctrl-B shortcut - and don’t forget to place a label right at the beginning for the first track.
Then use Audacity’s Export Multiple command (available from the File drop-down to export a multiple set of WAVs, MP3s or whatever.
The Audacity Wiki has much useful information on how to do this - a recommended read.

Hi,
I have a problem with this feature which I can’t figure out.
I have a live concert as an audio file and I’ve inserted labels with CTRL-B when tracks change. Export Multiple command works also fine, but when I play my files every track excluding the first one has about 2 seconds of previous track in it.
So whenever the track changes I hear the same 2 second part twice. I use the 1.3.3-beta version and I’ve tried to do this in Linux and in Windows. Is this some kind of feature that can be switched off somewhere?
