Hello,I’m new to Audacity and getting nowhere fast.My main use is intended to be recording radio projects via the onboard sound card and then splitting the recordings into tracks as you’d find them on a CD.Splitting tracks and saving all tracks as separate files either in Wave format or possibly MP3.For years I used Polderbits sound recorder and editor but was unable to install on my new PC as the company no longer exists so can’t activate.I’ve watched umpteen videos on You tube, scoure the manuals all to no avail.
I’m running version 2.12 on Windows 10 64 bit.
Can anyone help me please?
This Tutorial from the Audacity Manual covers that topic: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/splitting_a_recording_into_separate_tracks.html
It’s part of this set of Tutorials: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tutorial_copying_tapes_lps_or_minidiscs_to_cd.html

Thankyou very much.I reread that part of the manual and now it makes sense.Final bit asking to export multiple files is the missing link.Usually everyone I knows comes to me with their questions, this time it’s the other ay around, lifesaver.
