I haven’t used Audacity for a bit and no I am importing a stereo wav file and need to separate the tracks. I seem to recall selecting “Tracks: Split Stereo Tracks” for this purpose but I do not see it in the menu this time. I am running 2.1.2.
Any advice here appreciated!

Look in the Audio Track Dropdown Menu:
[tddm][/tddm]

Look there for choices to do with individual tracks, and in Tracks menu at the top of Audacity for choices to do with all selected tracks (or all tracks if the menu item states that).
