The split shortcut seems to no longer be working in v2.3.0 and is no longer listed in the shortcuts in the manual. Is there a workaround? Maybe a way to map custom shortcuts? Any ideas?
That’s one of the most useful shortcuts in my opinion and it’s really weird to not have it.
If you mean the “Ctrl + i” (“split”) shortcut, it is in the “full” set of defaults. See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/keyboard_preferences.html#defaults
I’m thinking that this is one shortcut that we should probably move into the reduced Standard shortcut set.

Or if you don’t want/need the Full set of shortcuts you could just add Ctrl + i (or any other key/key combination) to your shortcuts.

I agree. It is definitely one shortcut that I miss if I don’t have the full set enabled. Several other people have also written in about the “loss” of this shortcut.
