Special installation help. [SOLVED]

I’ve been using Audacity for long time now and want to install it on the computer at my church. The church doesn’t have Internet access so I need to know if it’s possible to download it to a flash drive at home, and install it from the flash drive on the pc at church and if so, how to go about doing it. Thanks in advance!

Yes you can do that.
You will need to know what operating system the church computer has (example: “Windows 7”)

Both the church and my home computer are both running Windows 7.

Download “Audacity 2.0.6 installer (.exe file, 22.9 MB, including help files) for Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8”
http://audacityteam.org/download/windows

After I download it, do I just save it to my flash drive and install it from there onto the church’s computer?

Since it’s an “.exe” executable file, you should be able to just move it to the computer and double click on it (said the Mac user).

I would download it in the normal way, then copy it to the flash drive, then copy it from the flash drive into the new computer, then remove the flash drive and double click on the .exe file on the new computer. As with installing anything, you will probably need to give an admin password to do the installation.

Thank you guys for walking me through this. I was able to put 2.0.6 on the computer at church this morning. I really appreciate all the help!
