Hi When i press the record button it starts recording eventhough i have The sound activate ticked, has anyone any sugestions as to what i am doing wrong please. Roy
My guess it that the background noise level is higher than the threshold level for Sound Activated Recording.
Try setting the threshold level higher (smaller negative number). http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/transport_menu.html#sar
