I have created my first Audacity wav files, Sonos says they are incorrectly formatted, what have I done wrong?
We donβt know what you are doing. Whatever Sonos is, look at its documentation for the type of WAV files it requires. If you export from Audacity as WAV (Microsoft) signed 16-bit PCM, project rate 44100 Hz, that should satisfy any hardware or software.
If you need more help, please tell us your version of Audacity (see the pink panel at the top of the page).

Thank you very much, Sonos does recognise and, more importantly, play WAV Microsoft signed 16pcm as you suggest. Novice user fault!
