[SOLVED] ACX Check not compatible with HP Pavilion?

I’m trying to download ACX Check to my HP Pavilion computer, and I get a message that says ACX Check file cannot run on my computer.
Anyone else have this issue and is there a solution?
I have Audacity 3.1.3 and Windows 10

When are you seeing that message? I’m assuming NOT when you are trying to use it in Audacity?

Windows is not going to “recognize” it. But it’s just a text file with a .ny extension.

As long as ACX-Check.ny is in your Audacity Plug-Ins folder with the other .ny files it should work. (You might have to enable it in Audacity.)

ACX Check is a “Nyquist Plug-in”. You do not “run” Nyquist plug-ins on their own. Nyquist plug-ins must be installed in Audacity and enabled, then they will appear in one of Audacity’s menus (in this case, the “Analyze” menu.

I see the message pop up when i click on the ACX-check link, and it says “This app cannot run on your PC”
