I just uploaded the new version of Audacity(2.3.2)My older version was working fine but I wanted to be able to utilize LAME. No matter what I do, the version is corrupted and unusable. Not sure what to do

Corrupted in what way? What error messages to you get? What version of macOS are you running?

I had a similar problem I think. All the controls, meters, etc that were part of the display/interface were jammed together in the middle of the screen. I deleted everything Audacity and reloaded twice after the first try. It appeared to finally load correctly but I had terribly distorted recordings off of a USB turntable. I’m running El Capitan on an iMac and Mojave on MacBook Pro. Happened on both.
