Audacity: both Beta and Standard
I’m using a snowball mic (usb input)/Sonic headphone (headphone input) with the recording and experiencing some latency problems when using the “software playthrough” preference. Any suggestions?
Audacity’s Software Playthrough option isn’t in a good position to give you a good monitoring signal. In fact, it’s usually pretty terrible.
You’ll need to set up your OS’s audio driver software to provide a monitoring signal through there, monitoring through software is always set up for failure.
The way to do that varies from driver to driver.
