first time using audacity 4 i encountered some stuff i wasn’t expecting and some stuff that i hope wasn’t intentional.
first of all, when you have an effect on, and i assume this is a bug, you cannot delete selected audio with backspace or the delete key, only by right clicking and selecting one of the delete options.
now onto the small nitpicks, i’m really used to listening to the audio i’m editing while i’m editing it and being REALLY zoomed in, so the fact whenever the playhead is offscreen it just zoops you into wherever is kinda maddening, i hope that apart from a “hey how fast do you want the zoop” there’ll an option to turn it off right next to it.
on the topic of optional stuff, if i’m recording and mess up, i kind of expect when i undo that the playhead also moves back, i just wanna hit record and start recording from where i started last. and if possible i’d love the speed selection thingy to come back, it was nice to listen to my song in 1.2006 speed and not have to edit it to see how it sounds faster.
