I have 60 files to edit and cut the silence at the beginning.Is there no command that simply saves the audio with the same specifications it was opened with, without opening the export window, like in Sound Forge?
Unfortunately, no. And Audacity doesn’t “know” or “remember” the original format except it usually keeps the sample rate.
Oh… You’ll loose any embedded artwork and possibly the other tags may get altered.
